The older I get the more I find that people don't normally have different opinion they just disagree on what the facts are. The problem is that a fact is true no matter what your point of view is. So if two people disagree on what the facts are then at least one if them is wrong and possible both of them are wrong. In addition, an important distinction is that a fact can indeed be proven wrong while an opinion can not.

What must I do to get Elder Scrolls V?

@Vhero

I thought Kojima retains a certain amount of control over all things Metal Gear.

I don't know which is worse either....

On second thought, it's paying for something that I have already paid for.

This is what gaming has come to companies ripping of consumers by preventing them from using content until they pay for it twice.

Please let it be Heavenly Sword 2!

I personally am not all the concerned about motion controls on either platform. However move is the only one that I think has a possibility of seriously catching on with the mainstream gamer. I don't know that it will but I think that it can. Here is what I base it that on.

At GDC we saw that move can be used to play SOCOM 4. It kind of divorced the aiming reticule from the camera control. I can see that as being a major, crushing advantage over someone playing with a contro...

The more likely reason that the word "Solid" is in the title is that Microsoft would not agree to pay unless the game was called "Metal Gear Solid." Kojima probably wanted to call it "Metal Gear Rising" or maybe even "Metal Gear Raiden". I don't know that for a fact, but the phrases "Metal Gear Rising" and "Metal Gear Raiden" sound too natural to have never been considered, doubly so when you consider that the game is about Raiden ...

I read the Bayonetta face-off, the Ninja Gaiden 2 / Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 face-off, and the Final Fantasy XIII face-off, all before this opinion piece was written.

Ravage27 is correct.

In the Bayonetta face-off, as well as the NG2/NGS2 face-off the DF guy did say plainly that the games were doing things that would be extremely difficult if not impossible to replicate on the PS3 without re-writing the game. In the case of NGS2 he went on to say that re-writing the gam...

Let's see how the metacritc scores compare when the 360 version has 30+ scores or if it ever get 30 review scores.

I agree that it looks like Microsoft's money is corrupting the review scores, but I will withhold my verdict until the releases day at least.

I think we already knew. So the no one on the sites will be really surprised. The real s***storm won't start until IGN, Gamespot, and the other rating sites all give the 360 version the same score that they give the PS3 version.

Thank you for the correct link to the God of War footage.

Translation: We don't have the expertise or money to release this game on PS3. Beside all the shooters sell best on 360 and God of War 3 and Final Fantasy XIII are releasing on PS3 in the same month. No one with a PS3 would buy our game anyway.

If I had a machine that prints money, but I only had one of them, I would never stop using that machine. You would do the same thing.

Bungie's claims that they would stop making Halo were fantasy to begin with. They may make other games besides Halo, but they will keep making Halo. Halo is the goose that lays golden eggs; its crap is make of gold as well. They're not going to kill that goose yet.

So how did this site get this video?

Why don't more sites have footage like this. The game releases in two weaks.

Do they stone the men that the women cheat with?

While stoning is a far right and over the top punishment, at least with adultery someone screwed your wife and ruined your house so one could argue that he's been wronged; a video game does neither.

This is purely about censorship, about controlling people by limiting their access to different ideas.

That's because the line is just crap. You can tell a story just fine while giving players freedom. KOTOR did it, ME1 & ME2 did, Oblivion did it. They kept the story linear for some other reason.

"You are "free" to tackle the extra missions (64 of them) during the last two or so chapters of the game."

I wonder what disk on the 360 version the last two chapters are in?

What if we learn that FFXIII becomes open-world and stops being linear after you place the 3rd disc in the 360?

Wouldn't that prove beyond a reasonable doubt everything a PS3 fan has ever said about FFXIII being gimped?

Wouldn't that wouldn't that prove everything they said about why the game is linear, and why the, "enough for another game", content was cut?

What if the game becomes open-world somewhere on the 2nd 360 disc?

...
